The short version
There are no accounts. We never ask for your name, email or location. Your browser keeps a random ID so your games and stats follow you on that device, and we use it to count how often each answer gets picked. If ads are on, Google may use cookies to show and measure them.
What we store
- A random player ID in your browser's local storage. It isn't linked to who you are.
- Your games: the guesses you make, the answers you submit and your score, tied to that ID. Answers are used to work out how rare each pick is for everyone.
- Your stats and recent results, also in your browser's local storage, so the page can show your streak and averages.
- Reports you send with "Report a problem", including any note you type.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't keep IP addresses with your games.
Ads and cookies
We may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technology to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites, and to measure them. You can turn off personalised ads at Google Ad Settings or aboutads.info. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
If you're in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you'll be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time from the privacy link that Google's message adds to the page.
Your choices
- Clearing this site's data in your browser removes your player ID, stats and results from your device.
- To have the games tied to your ID deleted from our servers, email us with the ID shown under About on the game page.
